1-on-1 Tax Help

Show yourself and your money some love by getting help to file your taxes. Expert staff from VITA will help you 1-on-1 for free!
You must make an appointment to use this service – call 719-587-2543. Please make one appointment for each tax return you have to file.
Here’s what you’ll need to bring with you to the VITA site:
- A Photo ID for all adults. (Required)
- Social Security Cards (or ITINs) for all family members. Proof of Foreign status if applying for an ITIN. (Required)
- Identity Protection PIN letters (if issued) for any family members. (Required)
- All W-2s, 1099s, and any other income-related documents.
- Proof of mortgage interest, property taxes, daycare payments, charitable contributions, and all other tax-deductible expenses.
- A copy of last year’s tax return, if available.
- Your bank account number and bank routing number to direct deposit your refund.
